Do You Qualify? Key OZEV Grant Requirements

To qualify for the OZEV EV Charger Grant, you’ll need to meet a few key requirements relating to your vehicle and property. You must own, lease, or have ordered an OZEV-approved electric vehicle, and be the registered keeper or primary user. The grant is designed for domestic properties, so your home must be located in the UK and either be a flat you live in or a fully rented property, including shared ownership. In addition, you’ll need access to safe and suitable parking where the charger can be installed.

All installations must be carried out by an OZEV-approved installer, such as Elite Energy Eco, to ensure compliance with grant conditions and safety standards. If you live in a rented property or a managed building, you’ll also need to obtain any necessary permissions from your landlord, freeholder, or managing agent before installation can go ahead.
